Default Wiring Harness

I have a '96 F250 and an '05 F150. Are the wiring harnesses the same? The reason I ask is that I have a factory 7 wire plug/harness for trailer towing, on my F250 and I was wondering if you can take it and plug it into my F150's harness if I unplug the 4 wire flat plug. Just curious.
Another question: Are most later model Ford F series trucks wired with the same harness, i.e. do they all have the blue trailer brake control wire already run?
