1985 Diesel ford ranger

hi. i was wondering what the diesel rangers were like? is it worth my while buying one? or would i be wasting my money?

What year Ranger ? I did not know they sold the Ranger with the Diesel in the US yet ?
Just overseas.

It depends on the condition of that 85 Ranger....
If it still looks good and can perform well... Then go for it!

Aside from checking the overall condition, consider the price before buying one.

In 1985, a Mitsubishi-built 2.3 L turbodiesel with 86 hp replaced the Mazda diesel engine. The diesels were no longer an option after 1987. These Rangers are rare now, but a few seem to be showing up now on ebay

I have always found the rangers a little on the small side myself LOL

they made diesel rangers from 84-86. i had 2 of them, they made a 2.2 and a 2.3 turbo version. i had the the 2.2 with 4 speed. it really needed a 5th gear it over reved
