Ford Ranger Help!

Got two flats on my ranger and its sitting an hour from home. Trying to get a spare to fit tire #2. My buddy has a 97 mountaineer. Will his spare fit my 2000 4WD XLT Ranger? Thanks

No usually they do not.Now a days the companies have become too clever they make the components such that one does not match the other.
