I just bought a a 1980 C-10 witha 4.1L, Manual Transmission 3 Speeds on the Column. Im wanting to put a new engine in it. Should I have the originial engine rebuilt or go for the 350? If I go for the 350 whats a good transmission to match it with?(I'v been looking at the TH350 but I really want to keep the column shift)Would I have to change it to a floor shift? Could I put a 4 speed on the current Column?How much wouldI have tochange the mounts for the 350? Any help would be greatly apericiated
