IHAVE A 2001 CHEVROLET TRUCK AND AM HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME GETTING TO THE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT BULB TO REPLACE IT. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A HINT AS TO HOW DO DO THIS. I"M NOT DUMB< BUT THIS ONE HAS GOT ME STUMPED!

 

ahhh,very simple..

Remove the headlite capsule...note those two pins that unlock and pull em out,and theentire headlite capsule moves outta the way....then you'll see the drl sockets....push a plastic tab in on the park lite housing,and out the lens pops

 

remember to not touch the new bulb with your fingers when you put it back in

I don't mean to be sarcastic but I thought our trucks had like the easiest headlight system I've EVER seen in a vehicle.

 

people look for screws on the lower lite assembly and do not think about removing the upper lite

 

I absolutely love my headlight assembly! I was able to replace one of my headlights the other night in a dim parking lot in just a minute or two.

 

i like being able to reach through my radiator support and having a hand right on the socket
