78 chev transmission conversion
I have a 78 chev truck and the transmission is kaputs. Can anybody tell me if my transmission from my 84 olds delta 88 will bolt up to the chev 350 block in the 78 chev? The olds trans is an overdrive and the engine is a 5.0 ltr. I just think it would be better on fuel if I could install the olds tranny to the chev. Thanks for any help.
