Hi, This is my first post here. I'm trying to figure out why my engine is binding up. The motor and tranny are transplanted into a jeep.

The starter is not hooked up. I can turn the engine by hand approx. one revolution in either directions and then it binds. I can shift the tranny by hand in all gears (Tranny shifter is not hooked up) There are no drive shafts.

This is a 10 year old project that I just now have gotten back to. I just got the TBI wiring harness, but don't want to hook it up untill the engine is free.

Just losened the tranny bolts and it came free. I re-torqued the bolts and is still free. Any follow up thoughts will be appreciated.
