Default Daytime running lights 1998 Chevy 1500

I've got a 98 Chevy 1500 with Daytime Running Lights. I don't like lights running when I don't want them running. Could anybody tell me how to make them stop? Is there some sort of relay or fuse I could pull? I've thought about doing something with the E-brake switch, but I didn't know if there was something better. Thanks.

yes there is a relay for the daytime running lights. if your willing to pull it out and reconnect the wire it should make them turn on with the switch only.

Or, you could SLIGHTLY engage your parking brake, just enough to shut off the lights.
