I just got a 1998 Chevy with the Vortec motor in it and the kid i got it from tried to rebuild the motor. He says when he times it the pickup will start right up and run until you shut it off. Then it won't start until you retime it. I was wondering what would cause this to happen. Or any sug. on how to fix or where to look for a problem.
