Fuse Box Question.

Fuse Box Question.
98 GMC Sierra. Wipers work but fluid will not spray. You can't even hear the motor running when you try and spray it. First check of the fuse box and I find that the fuse for the wipers is not even in the socket. Wipers should not work without the fuse. Look a little closer to find the metal seat for the fuse is also missing. All I see is an empty whole were the fuse should be.
Once again the wipers still work, but there is no fuse. This leads me to believe the old owner wired the wipers directly. No big deal but I want to fix it right in hopes the sprayer will work once again.
Is there any way to replace the metal seat for the fuse? I'll try and shoot a picture up tomarrow so you know what I'm talking about.

RE: Fuse Box Question.
Maybe, have not had time to check on that. Just kind of thinking that replacing the socket for the fuse would be the first step to making sure its fixed the right way. Not to worried about the pump as I can always get another.

RE: Fuse Box Question.
I was able to pull the fuse seat back out and re-wire the motor to the fuse panel without to much trouble. Last owner must of shoved the fuse in wrong and jammed the fuse seat.
He did have it wired all funny, but it was not to hard.
