Paint Oxidation HELP!

RE: Paint Oxidation HELP!
Don't know what to say if the clear coat is gone, I wonder if at that point it will need to be repainted. I can speak to the clay bar. It's very easy to use and takes of the surface contaminants as well as the wax. Pollutants that have bonded with the paint, overspray, brake dust, etc. The clay bar will make the paint smooth. If you drag your hand across the clean paint and it doesn't feel smooth use the clay bar. Last year I used Meguiars Deep Crystal 3 step system. Step one is a paint cleaner. Step 2 is a polish. Step 3 is a wax. I skipped their step 3 wax and used their Gold Class. The ride looked real sweet. I imagine it might shine up your ride but I wonder how long it would last if you have lost the clear coat. I'm not a Meguiars rep so I don't want it to sound like I'm pushing the Meguiars but on thier web page they have lots of suggestions and an RX section. A guy on another forum I frequent swears by Zaino products. I think they have a pretty good help page as well.
