Hey i got a 01 Silverado 4.8L I dont know what my issue is with it. First off Mass airflow sensor got wet and replaced it about 4months ago was running good for about a month. then started misfiring guess it fouled the plugs with a bad M.A.S.
Replaced the plugs and wires and coils. now it is running real sluggish and engine seems like it is working more than is should be. tranny isnt slipping or anything oil replaced every 3k miles. funny thing is when i get on it the motor gets rpms but it wont go anywhere fast just revs up the motor and putts along. Its pulling up knock 1 and knock 2 sensor codes but im pretty sure those have to do with timing. When i do get on the gas it like revs up like i said but when i let off a little bit it goes faster than it was just a hair pushed down further. Could it be transmission issue or rear end or what? the torque isnt there either. i used to be able to tap the gas and it would chirp the tires now it just bogs down. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated greatly. Thanks
