Default stalling suburban

I have a 2001 2500HD suburban withthe 8.1,recently as we drive the truck at any speed orare sitting at alight the truck just shuts down and we are unable to restart it for a few mins. Also sometimes after we park and try to restart it again it will not start. Then like someone turns a switch it just starts. As you can understand sitting in a parking lot is no big deal, but pulling a 31 ft RV at 65mph could be a problum. If anyone has had this happen with their truck please let me in on thefixso I can have it addressed. Thanks, Jim
