Hello Everyone. I have a 88 k3500 with 6.2 diesel with sm465 tran. I want to swap in a 350. Will the 350 gas engine work with the tSm 465?? Will it rev high and have bad fuel mileage?

How would the 350 and sm465 run if a put in rear end from a truck with overdrive transmission??

If I were you I would look for a 700R4 which you know is compatible with the 350 and is VERY common. I really don't know about the other tranny as the 6.2 is basically a gas engine converted to diesel so it could work
