For a while the thing wouldnt work at all. Now it is stuck on and I don't like the way it shifts...I never even use it when I tow. My truck is '00 GMC 1500....how can I fix this, or should I burn the truck and upgrade? haha I wont burn it

check the switch and make sure it is not shorted out or stuck....check the wires that go to the switch also

that is a very common problem....seems like GM should have rerouted those
