i have an 86 chevy pickup with a 350 engine and SM465 (4-speed) tranny in it. i want to have an overdrive so i want to put a newer 5 speed in. i have done some research and it looks like the shifter on the NV4500 comes up further back on the transmission than it did on the 465. my concern is that it willl interfere with my transfer case shifter. I was just windering if anyone knows about this or if anyone has succesfully done this, i am sure someone has. [/align]
