I just purchased this vehicle today. Happy with purchase but one surprise at end of deal was I was handed the keys and there is no Keyless Entry FOB. It is not a deal breaker, but since the door locks are electric I thought it would come with a FOB for opening and locking doors. Also the key for ignition looks like a standard groove key. Not sure if it is a chipped/transponder key or not but I go back to dealer next week and will ask. My question is since the door locks are electric, can I purchase a FOB for keyless entry access? Or did Chevrolet make some vehicles without the keyless feature and it would take a lot more than programming a FOB to have this feature?

New to this forum and I just came across this thread. I'm surprised that the dealer didn't provide a keyless Fob for your model. I was able to locate a part number for a keyless fob based on your model. You can verify fitment/compatibility by entering your VIN on the page. There may also be other options for your VIN.
