Hello buying my first truck with cash
Hi all,
I have saved up 10k and I am wanting to buy my first truck. I saw most of the trucks in that price range are models from the years 2002 to 2008 with around 70k to 100k miles on them. I am starting my own business, sole proprietorship and will be doing a lot of hauling and moving jobs. I am 6 ft 5 280 pounds. I guess mainly I'm looking for the best quality and the one's that have the best reputation among the community. For ex. if the 2002 model of one particular type of vehicle for 7k might be even better then a 2006 version 10k of the same kind minus the enhancements( if I can save a couple grand that would be even better, haha, insurance and bonding is expensive). I don't mind spending 9k however if that is the way it needs to be. Sales tax in Seattle is 9%, So I'm looking at 9100 pretax. I don't care about how it looks, just that it will last me a good 6 to 7 years. Thank you for any suggestions.
