I am looking for a vehicle capable of holding 9 passengers but also hauling a fifth wheel. My wife and I have 7 kids and we are looking to do some long term travelling and have found fifth wheel floorpans to be much better than bumper pulls. I realize there is no factory built vehicle with this capability but I am wondering if anyone has seen options for this. I have seen some of the 6 door trucks online but I'm not looking for something that has all the bells and whistles, just basic transport. I would prefer to not have something longer than a crew cab long box or it becomes impossible to park in a normal parking lot.

I definitely don't think there are any factory options out there that would be able to help other than a large Peterbilt or freightliner Hauler (Possibly).

Have you considered the motorhome-dingy option?
