I recently noticed a small chip on my car’s windshield. I’m trying to figure out if I should replace it now or wait a bit. I know that small damages can sometimes worsen over time, but I also want to avoid unnecessary costs.

Could temperature changes or driving conditions affect when it’s safest to replace a windshield? I’ve heard different opinions from mechanics and friends. I’m especially curious about optimal windshield replacement timing to prevent the crack from spreading.
