I have a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that the keyless entry does not work anymore. I have changed batteries in the key fob, cleaned the key fob components thoroughly, but still no success in getting it to work. Any suggestions on what else needs to be tried to get it to working?

Does the electric locks switches work on the doors?

 

Are any of the buttons on the key fob working?....On my wifes van, some worked, some didnt...had to replace the rubber button pad thing, the metal contacts on the inside were worn out...got it on ebay
