Default Tonneau Covers

I have a Dodge Ram 1500 and I am looking at getting a tonneau cover for it. What are your experiences with them? Hard or soft cover?

trifecta covers. my boss has one (the tri-fold model on a Dodge Ram 2500)...during the day we flip it on and off 10+ times a day. Easy on and off (yet when its on its totally secure) and extremely durable.

Fold-a-Cover G4 Elite Hard Folding tonneau. You can open it and lock it at either end of the truck bed. It's a hard tonneau so you don't have to worry about too much weight on top of it, and it looks great. www.foldacover.com

Cool Best Cover Ever

I know this is an old post, but I have spent the past year developing a hybrid tonneau cover & cargo net that allows you to have the power of ratchet net strength and the overall coverage of a tonneau cover.

Tonneau soft covers are easy to remove and are lot cheaper. However, if you need to secure important cargo, for whatever purpose, then it's better to get the hard covers. For every day use, soft Tonneaus do fine.

For aesthetic purposes I like Hard covers better. Just my opinion.

Myself and my family have switched almost exclusively to Truxedo covers. They are extremely well built and fit the vehicles just fine, but are also extremely secure and easy to take on and off. Truxedo is a sponsor of Truckforums as well, so there may be additional discounts associated. Check it out!

Agreed. Was looking at Bak tonneau covers, and apparently you can wrestle an alligator on it LOL!
