01 Suburban rear air suspension help
Ive had my leveling compressor replaced at the dealer twice in three years. Its a $800 repair. They cannot tell me why it fails. They just kepp replacing the compressor.
The first time it blew a fuse, replaced it and worked fine for three months. Its not working now and dread taking it in again for another rape. The factory one lasted 6 yrs. Anyone know what to do? It senses the load, airs up and shuts off as it should. After awhile, nothing, its dead. I pull a single axle, 10ft motorcycle trailer with a few bikes. I cant be over taxing it.
Suggestions?

Wow that's not good! Are they inspecting the wiring to make sure there isn't a bare wire touching periodically or a poor ground causing it to overheat? Can they tell you if it is electrical or otherwise going bad? I would be asking about a warranty. I am in the bike business as well and one of my trailers is a 10' used for local pick-ups and it shouldn't hardly squat the back anyways much less overwork compressor. I pull mine with a 1/2 ton and it is hardly even felt.
