Whats up im charlie, i have a 2002 silverado v6. i bought it brand new in feb. 02 and it currently has 86,000 or so miles on it. i have never had a problem with the engine, and it doesnt even burn oil. i wanna know if any one out there has the 4.3, and if so what kind of mods have you done? i plan on keeping it, and one day giving it to my son, so i would like to give him one to remember.

I have the 4.3 im my Blazer, which except for the intake, is the same. With the Silverado 4.3, the intake is a 4", same as it is on the 5.7, so theres no need to get a better intake, you can just swap for a K&N filter. The 4.3s sound good with Flowmasters too....
