I own a 1997 ford f350 crew cab gas 460 ci, I need help with iether the proper tool to change the fuel filter or some general info on the process.

 

A strap wrench will work if you don't have the normal oil filter wrench. Make sure and put clean oil on the gasket of the replacement oil filter before you install it. If you don't you will be sorry when you go to remove it.
