The R/Ts have around 250 horsepower stock. It'd be somewhere around 210-220 getting to the rear wheels. The Viper engine is a v10 whereas the Dakota R/T has a v8. If the check engine light is on, I'd definitely get it looked at.

I don't know if they started to put Viper engines in them. Since they are V-10's it would be a lot of motor. But if they did the ground power would propably be about 410-415 the torque would be around the same.

Oh go get somethin' done about the check engine light.

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram R/T and models of these trucks with viper engines are incredibly rare. They usually come with 5.9L Magnums, and upgraded transmissions. I dont know too much about mine I just got it this year from my dad.
