I've been looking for a truck for the last couple of years and I finally found this sweet bank repo which was priced right for me... Here's the specs
2008 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LT Standard Bed (2LT)
5.3L V-8 315 HP 4 Speed Automatic w/OD
2 Tone Black/Beige Interior
Front Seats 40/20/40 - Rear seats 60/40 Split Bench
Keyless Entry / Remote Start
XM/AM/FM/MP3/Aux-In 6 Speaker Audio System
Dual Climate control with Auto temperature control
275/55-20 Tires 20" Wheel (obviously ha ha)
Rhino Spray-In Bedliner
Full length Nerf bars
The truck had 25,652 miles. I had it checked out by a mechanic and it passed with flying colors...
Since it was a bank repo it didn't come with the keyless remote(s), one of my co-works has a 2008 Silverado Texas Edition with remote start so he let me borrow the remote, I programmed the remote to my truck and for the heck of tried to remote start it... low-and-behold it started... can you say BONUS!
I'm very happy with this truck, great selection at a fantastic price.

Well the first mod I did was removed the advertisement of the dealer from where the truck came from!! HA HA
I think the first thing I'm going to do is purchase a tonneau cover, thinking about the Lund Gensis Seal and Peel, any recommendations?
I hope to gain knowledge as well as share some too, I'm very new to the truck community as this is my first truck (owned several cars) Communities like these are great, people sharing knowledge with other enthusiasts...

Lund makes a real nice cover and I am assuming the peel and seal is the one without the snaps which I really like the look of. I also like the hard fiberglass ones the best as far as looks, but they are a little bit of a pain if you ever haul anything large. Either way good luck and don't forget we love pictures here.
