Default 93 K1500 re: heavy loads

I haul stone & dirt up to 1.5 tons about 20 -30 times a year for my landscaping needs at home - yea I like to work! - anyway my truck is holding up well and I am interested in learning if I am risking anything significant that your exp. has given you re: shocks, springs, rearend,engine/tranny etc... I am doing some body work on it & will have the bed off & cancer spots in rear cab corners, think I will put drain holes in area 2 prevent future rust there. Any info very helpful, Thanx, Koz

I wouldn't drill any holes cause that will create an unpainted area for rust to form. Even if you paint the holes you will never get the area 100%. I say leave it alone
