Hello everyone,new here and as allways,the oddball. I have a 97 dodge ram 3.9 2 wd standard cab.Engine giving me the death rattle. I have also a mid to late 70's 440 engine and trans out of a motorhome. I thought I can put these 2 together just for extra power but nothing big and certainly not for racing. Dress it up a lil bit and make it look great. Anyways I've been doing some research and by the looks of things,it mite be a lil daunting task. Here is my dilema. My friend at the junkyard is now selling me a Gm Lt1 5.7 with trans,just 20 something thousand miles on it. Practically new condition. It is fuel injected which is cool with me,also have the computer and harness included. Question,.How much more work would it be if I go the Gm route? I'm a chevy man so I really want that 5.7. I only have the ram because it cost me $200 and I needed a ride from point a 2 b. Now I'm ready 2 start a new project and this it. I have alot of time but not alot of money. Can you guys help?
