The 94 F150 w/300i 5spd is a good truck STRONG work horse.
but $2800 is a lot for that old girl.
Don't forget all your requirements for a truck. You don't want to buy it then regret it later wishing you got an extened cab. Don't be blinded by the first shiny one that comes along.. Hold out for that one that meets all your requirements.

Fuel efficient
Full size truck
Powerful
Extended Cab
