Default have a ? gettin perform from a ranger

I cant seem to find anything I can use whenever I try to search on google for ways to get more performance from/into a 3L 00 Ranger can yall help me out cause this unfurtunately is the vehicle I will be driving whe I get my license and everytime Im riding in it with my dad Im afraid we will be rearended pulling onto the highway the lack of acceleration seriously scares me any tips short of a whole new $6000+ engine swap?

Yeah I've driven one of those and they are pretty weak. Don't know if you can do much with them. I'd try intake/exhaust like usual. See if that helps much. Then I would move on to getting the computer reprogrammed by a local speed shop if possible.

If your really motivated u could buy 302 and put it in there if possible there not that expensive for a used one and there pretty powerfull plus there easy to find.

Honestly,without major engine swaps as stated...its a slug, and not much is gonna change that.

one of the guys i work with supercharged one of those and it brought it to life.....that will only cost like 3 grand, but it should fix your problem
