Default hello all

hello my name is chris i own a 1976 chevy K10 scottsdale stepside which i am having an issue with. today my tie rod end started grinding on my rim and i am trying to figure out what is wrong with it. im thinking it is the steering damper or maybe my hub bearing but im at abit of a loss any help would be great.

Welcome to truck Forums. Is it a 4x4 ? I guess it doesn't matter.
If you have been having some grinding noises leading up to this. I would say you have a hub bearing issue.

yes its 4x4 no nothing before it just started down the road. i lifted it up and there is alot of play in that bearing so i will replace it and the sterring damper.
