Default Hello from Georgia!

Just wanted to jump in and introduce myself. I have owned a few Chevy trucks over the years and just got a new one. I just sold my '07 2500 diesel and bought a '09 LTZ 1500. The diesel was a very nice and dependable truck but it was much more than I needed the majority of the time. This new one rides much better and while it doesn't have the raw power of the 2500, it has plenty. I have the 5.3 engine with the 6 speed transmission. I plan to keep it stock but I like reading what others are doing with theirs and the solutions to problems. I've done a lot of work on various vehicles over the years but I don't consider myself an accomplished mechanic. I mostly read but if I see where I may be able to help someone, I'll certainly try.
