Greets, truck people. Just got my first Chevy truck - 98 Silverado, 5.0, x-cab/3dr, black, bone stock for now. I've been driving small import cars as daily drivers the last 20yrs or so, thought it was time for a truck.

She's in pretty good shape - a few dents and leather tears here and there but runs great. I don't have crazy plans for her yet but I come from a musclecar background, so would eventually love some performance modifications (headers, etc.), would like to lower her a bit, go chrome 18s. Right now, this truck is my daily driver and gets me around as is

Anyway, I'm digging thru all the posts for tips and tricks, and I gotta say that this seems like a cool place to hang out - cool people, cool trucks.
