Default Hi all!

Hi,
I have a 98 GMC Sierra 3500 4x4 with the 5.7L. It is not a duelly. I think it is a K3030. I have about 100K on it now (I got it new in 99). It has been a great truck, but I am having a few little problems. The one I am working on now involves the tow package. For some reason (untill now) it never accured to me that the dealer should have put the hitch plugs on. You know the part the trailer wires plug into. The truck came with the tow package, but no plug. I bought the little T to run a 4 plug and that was all I needed for years, but now I am adding a break box. I was poking around under the hood and found a red and blue wire taped off, just where it would be really handy to have a red and blue wire. I went to the back of the truck and let down the spare. Low and behold up in the chassis I found a red, blue and a white wire all taped off. Does any one know where these wires actually go? Are they just run form the front to back? The wires seem to be taped way up along the harness (like the ends are really long), but I thought it would be good to check before I did any more. I bought all the stuff to just set up the breaks and all like nothing was there, but if I can use factory stuff that would be great. Has any one run into this?

Thanks

-Pete
