Default Hi there from Virginia

I've come here looking for information on F250 trucks. I'll go to the right boards, I hope, to ask questions.

Right now I own a 2005 F150 XLT, Trition 5.4L engine, 4x4, Supercab with tow package. I currently pull a 24ft Skyline Koala travel trailer. In fact, this being my first year of retirement, we went on a cross country tour pulling the trailer beginning in late February and getting back home in early April. We put over 7,900 miles on the truck and trailer.

The truck has been a good one, but I keep wanting something larger. Probably will not be able to find one that I can afford, but I want to get educated just in case one happens along.

I guess I don't have to tell you "Bigger is Better" but like everything thing else it comes at a price.
If you moved up to the F250 or F350 you could get it in the Superduty w/International diesel engine.
It is still going to ruffly get the same mpg as you are get with your F150 gasser. The difference is you will climb hills like a champ with your trailer and the ride will be much better with the added load on the back.
The down fall to moving up to the heavier truck is your service bill will be larger.
