well kinda...its new to me atleast.

what i got is a 1989 GMC Sierra R3500
its a 5.7 hooked to a Turbo400 tranny
its a little rough and needs some help, but it will take the abuse of a work truck.
i cant seem to find anything about it though. so i decided, why not join a truck forum and make my life just a little easier?

as for my baby, nope; only rear wheels get power. from what im told, thats what the R in R3500 means. But....finding info on this truck is more work than it should be.


I just got it smogged and on the road a few days ago. plan on painting it matte black....but all in due time. untill then, i need to find or build a gun rack....for my nerf gun :P

 

I'd leave it the color it is. it looks good. Get some nice mags on it, and good to go.

 

it got mags, 8 lugs<3
i dont like white and it was dont with house paint....and theres runs all over it. its terrible.
as a painter, i want to paint it. i plan on leaving the roof line white though.

I didn't realize it was house paint. I always use spray paint on my older trucks.
