I am new to this forum. I'm coming here for advice. I want to buy a pickup truck, preferably a mid-size. I've been looking at the 4x4 Tacoma, it is the one I like the most. My requirements are: it must be Manual Transmission. I would like to have leather interior, but thats where I've been having trouble. I've researched but haven't found any mid-sizers that have leather interior and are manual. I like the Silverados, the Sierra's, but those are full-size and I haven't seen any manual transmission options. Also, should I be looking to buy new or used? If used, how old? Any advice will come in real handy as I've been doing my research online but I'd like to get some input from truck owners.

i just recently bought a 05 4.8 gmc sierra 4x4 stick shift, i love the truck, i get about 18 mpg around town and back and forth from the house, it doesnt have leather like you want but it is a good truck with plenty of power for me with good gas mileage, i would definatly stick with the thoughts of a gm or toyota truck!
