2004 Silverado 2500 HD has intermittent ABS light on. Comes on, turns itself off. Open door with Key in chimes (even when I hold the key in my hand). Occasionally remote will not lock doors. Frustrating!
I have cleaned Battery Ground, wire brushed the flimsy frame ground and added star washers. No joy.
This seems to be a fairly common problem with this year, but all my research points to ABS Module or its connection. Since the door chimes and door lock issue doesn’t seem to be a part of that system I am hesitant to have the ABS Module rebuilt.
Looking for some suggestions from folks with more experience than me!
