LOL what do I know...it is a K2500
Traded a Porsche for my truck...porsche was running rough, truck (Silverado) is 'rougher' or 'tougher'. I needed a vehicle to get My BMW (540 six speed manual), off the road for the winter months. I don't intend on leaving this thing 'rot' so I'll be doing some 'upgrades' and some general fixin up, I'll be askin questions along those lines, and basic questions. First truck I've owned since I had a pickup in the late 70's and early 80's so you can guess although I am a n00b I am not a young n00b .
I really like the truck, has the typical over the wheel well rust, and cab corners will need to be replaced, but the 350 still has plenty of life left in it, and the drive train appears solid. So, I am the happy owner of the 92...
I am a car guy, with a few years experience in the auto industry, as a line worker, assembly supervisor and now a systems analyst. So, there probably isn't much I can't pull off in the way of repairs...but I will not hesitate to ask you guys with more experience...I know the lessons experience teaches, so if I ask a question I will listen :-) and will offer up any advice I can along the way to help others.
Anyone wants to offer up any pre emptive checks or warnings feel free.
My hobbies are Fitness (thus the CrossFit in my ID), Photography, Computers, Cars and Firearms (CCW permit holder)... Ok enough about me already!
