just a newbie saying hi. i'm more of a lurker than a poster. i've just purchased a 1994 dodge dakota slt extended cab 4x4. all i can say is what a truck! and it's bone stock. my first order of business is to lift it 2" and a set of 31" tires. i'm sure i'll have plenty of power to turn them with the v8 mill that's under the hood. i went with this style of truck because i find the mid size trucks look sporty and the dakota sparked my interest because i have 2 kids and i like the back seat design unlike the ford (which is the brand i usually buy) that has those stupid flop down from the sides seats. i'm sure this site is going to be very informative and i look forward to learning new things about this truck.

Oh man I rode in the back of one of those all the way to a Michigan Football game and back and it was probably the most uncomfortable thing I have ever ridden in. Especially since I was the smallest of the four at a meager 6'1"

 

With that V8 engine, you really have a powerful rig!
