New registrant.

New registrant.
My father brought me up on Dodge (Chrysler in general I suppose - as my uncle was a Dodge dealer).
My first car was a Ford. I NEVER (EVER) went back (EVER).
I married in to a Subaru. It was my last (Subaru that is - I have stuck with the girl for 20+ now).
I tried a couple of Audis: a 100LS and a 5000 (quite vintage now). I would like to go back to a 100LS as a hobby someday.
Since then I have been all GM. I like GM. They break. I fix them. I like them some more. They break... you get the idea. I have come to know where they break and I can almost always deal with it myself.
My family is now on it's 4th Blazer. I've had 85, 91, & 95 (my current vehicle). My wife is now in a '01. As a result, I have been from 160 and 8192 ALDL DIY diagnostic circuits through OBD-II Elm scanners/software. If you have GM data-circuit or software questions - I suppose I might have some information. But I am absolutely NOT a guru.
My reason for joining the board is my '95 auto-trans fix. But I would be glad to give of what I have learned.
