Hello all.. I bought my 01 Chevy Silverado 4.8L Ext Cab new and now have 135,000 miles. My son has been modding his Volkswagon Passat and got me interested on beefing my truck up a bit.

So far, I have added a K&N Air Intake kit and a Flowmaster series 40 muffler. I will be receiving a Diablo Sports Predator Flash Tuner in a few days to hack my default settings a bit and plan on redoing the interior cartpet and seats next. I hope to find some good posts on making my Silverado run like new or even better.

 

That's cool man. Welcome to Truck Forums. I had a friend when I worked at the VW dealership here that was suping up a Passat with the VR6 in it. Those are pretty bad little engines! I'd take my Sierra any day of the week though.
