Default Question about 1995 silverado c2500/c3500 suspension?

Hello guys and gals, Im new to this forum as of today. I have a 1995 chevy silverado 2500 extended cab 2WD with 170K miles on it. Its got the 7.4L 454 v8, 4L80E tranny, 14 bolt full floater rear end and believe its 4.10 gear ratio. I've had it for almost 3 years now. I bought it as a mechanic special at a used dealership cause it was treated badly and I wanted to save it for $2500. Its my high school dream truck. Theres no rust on it at all believe it or not. I put a lot o time and money into and it runs almost as if it was brand new with some upgrades.

My main question is, is there a big difference in the c2500/c3500 suspension? I have the 5/1 leaf spring set up and wanting to upgrade to 7/1 set up but dont wanna lift the *** end up stupid high. At stock height it already has that hot rod look in a way. Instead of me wanting to buy a 3500 I want to know if its possible and or worth it to convert the suspension to a c3500?

Thanks in advance and hope you can help
