have a 2002 gmc hd 6.0 and the problem is wont stay running more than 1 second then maybe 15 min later will start right up and run fine all day It is a very speratic problem. My snapon scanner cant get into read the codes and it did have a remote start in it which I removed. Any ideas anyone

 

Is your security light flashing in the instrument cluster? The remote starts have to have some sort of bypass interface for the passlock system. I would bet it has something to do with it.
