Default which truck to buy?

I'm getting ready to buy a 1 ton truck - it's between a ford or a dodge, I've been driving & working on Chrysler products for over 45 years (my dad work for Chrysler). the truck will be a diesel, want it for hauling & plowing - I do a little farming, why should I go with Dodge?

If you are "off-roading" you may want to watch this before you buy:

well Dodge is really coming along has nice comfortable interiors and has a proven diesel, but it is the weakest of the big 3 and gets the worst FE and you will be using a new tranny (unproven) and dodge has the SFA

Ford is all new engine (again) but i am hearing good things about it and very little bad, they have a nice interior, also a new tranny (also unproven), Ford has the best FE of the big three, Ford also has the SFA

GMC / Chevy
what can you say very good engine and tranny, the main complaints i hear from this truck is, loud interiors, rattles, interior is in need of a overhaul, if you plan on using this truck for off roading and plowing keep one thing in mind it has the IFS heard lot of bad things when putting plow on IFS, other wise i hear a lot of people like them,

just drive them all and make your decision based on what you think, wish you the best of luck

Go with Ford if you are not committed to any.
