Hi New to the site.
I have a 1993 S-15 Sonoma Vortex-z
Am having problem in obtaining proper engine temp. I think it should run at 195 degree's or a bit higher.
Have changed thermostat rated for 195 degree's
New fan clutch. No luck
Do have heat to heater Defrost and other controls seem to work okay
The temp i am getting now is only about !/2 what i should get, say approx 100 Degree's or less. Have to put cardboard in front of rad to even get this temp.
Even took fan off and temp stayed about the same less than 100 degree's after 60 miles an hour for forty five minutes any suggestion would be appreciated

Thanks for your answer.
No i no not think it is the gauge I COULD BE WRONG
if I place my hand on the floor to feel the heat it is not that hot.
And the day I ran it hard with no fan on the motor i stopped at idle for a while the temp and gauge went up to normal. and the heat it put out was HOT It went back to around !/2 after I start to drive down the road again.
My Gauge is in Centigrade it goes from 0 to 100 and then 125 it runs around the 50 mark.
