I am looking to buy a beater work truck. Doesn’t have to be 4x4 but would be nice if it is. I am looking to spend about 2,000. So I’m looking at early to mid 90’s trucks. My question is this between ford Chevy and dodge what would be the Best Buy for a reliable simple sturdy truck. Pros and cons of each one and what engine choices are best. Which transmissions are best of the three and things to watch out for . Thanks everyone glad to be here.
