i am looking at the ready lift leveling kit but cant make up my mind

 

Spend the money and get a Ready Lift. I would not buy one of the bottom mount kits and put it on my truck. You get what you pay for, IMO I put the 1.5" RL kit on my 08 Silverado and it is perfect. If you just want to eliminate the rake and keep the rest stock the 1.5" is the way to go. If you get the 2.25" I'd put a block in the back or you'll look like a California Cruiser. You're talking about a truck presumably worth several thound dollars. You think it's smart to mess around with a $65 plastic/nylon level that adds all sorts of preload to the front? After my kit was installed the alignment was still perfect. When you go messing around on the bottom end you'll start messing w/ camber.
