Hey everyone, new here and I have a strange question. I'm a blogger/web-publisher currently working on a project relating to RV's and pickup trucks. I don't live in the US and clearly, missing out on a lot of the action I'm toying with the idea of hopping over for a short visit sometime between September and October. My anchor at this point is out west - Idaho. I'm an experienced traveler to the US (visited 45 states and 4 Canadian provinces and territories on our road trips), so driving for 15-20 hours isn't a problem. In fact, I'm thinking of trying the new WOW flights to Chicago.

So, my question is - how do I find worthy events during these months out west where I can come, view, learn and take tons of photos of cool pickup trucks? I found an RV show which would be great but would love to complement that with pickups.
